Amityville Arts & Music Department

We believe the arts are an essential part of a well-rounded education, giving students meaningful opportunities to explore creativity, develop their individual voices, and share their talents through visual art, music, and performance. Through classroom learning, exhibitions, concerts, productions, and districtwide celebrations, students build artistic skill while strengthening communication, collaboration, critical thinking, innovation, and reflection. These experiences align with the New York State Portrait of a Graduate and help prepare Amityville students to grow as artists, learners, and confident contributors to their community.
