Today, our youngest learners at Northeast Elementary School came together for a meaningful observance of Patriot Day.

Pre-K and kindergarten students gathered in the gym, where they stood together for the Pledge of Allegiance and listened to a beautiful flute rendition of “God Bless America.”

Following the assembly, students headed outside to plant American flags, creating a special visual tribute in remembrance of September 11.

Through these age-appropriate moments of reflection, our students learned about the importance of remembrance, unity and coming together as a community.

We are proud of our Northeast students and staff for helping ensure that, even 25 years later, we continue to remember.
