Amityville Memorial High School College Fair Helps Students Explore Their Futures

Amityville Memorial High School students took an important step toward planning their futures during the school’s annual College Fair, an event designed to help students explore higher education opportunities and make informed decisions about life after graduation.
The event brought college representatives directly to Amityville, giving students an opportunity to learn about different institutions, explore academic programs and gain valuable insight into the college admissions process.
Throughout the fair, students engaged in meaningful conversations with representatives, asked thoughtful questions and explored programs aligned with their interests and career aspirations. For some, the experience helped narrow their college choices, while others discovered new possibilities they may not have previously considered.
Beyond exploring colleges, the fair encouraged students to take ownership of their futures by thinking critically about their goals, identifying their interests and considering the steps needed to achieve their aspirations.
Events like the College Fair reflect the district’s ongoing commitment to college and career readiness, ensuring students have access to the information, resources and experiences needed to make confident decisions about their futures.
