Northwest Elementary Celebrates Hispanic Heritage Month With Student Parade

Northwest Elementary School brought students and families together for a special Hispanic Heritage Month parade celebrating culture, music and student learning.
Students proudly marched outside for their families before performing songs and dances they had been practicing in class as part of their Hispanic Heritage Month activities. The parade gave students an opportunity to showcase their hard work while celebrating Hispanic culture and traditions with the Northwest community.
The event also gave families a chance to be part of their children’s learning and celebrate alongside them. By bringing classroom learning outside for families to experience, Northwest created a meaningful connection between culture, education and community.
Thank you to our Northwest students and staff for their hard work and to our families for joining us for this special celebration of Hispanic Heritage Month!
