The 2026–2027 school year is officially underway in the Amityville Union Free School District, and the first day brought plenty of smiles, excitement and Tide pride across our schools.

From our youngest learners beginning their school journeys to seniors stepping into their final year at Amityville Memorial High School, students returned ready to reconnect, learn and take on new opportunities.

Across the district, the first day served as a reminder of what makes Amityville special: welcoming classrooms, strong relationships and a shared commitment to helping every student succeed.

We are excited for all that the 2026–2027 school year will bring and look forward to celebrating the accomplishments, milestones and memorable moments ahead.
