Northeast principal honored with Juneteenth Community Award

Northeast Elementary School Principal Dr. Pauline Collins was recognized with a Juneteenth Community Award during a Juneteenth Recognition Event held on June 19 at Tanner Park in Copiague.
The award recognizes Dr. Collins’ dedication to serving students, families, and the greater Amityville school community. Upon accepting the honor, she shared that the recognition was a reflection of the collective efforts of the Northeast Elementary School staff and the exceptional work they do each day to support children and their families. Under Dr. Collins’ leadership, Northeast continues to foster a supportive and inclusive learning environment where pre-K and kindergarten students are encouraged to thrive academically, socially, and emotionally.
