Northeast’s tiny scholars transform into ‘100-year-olds’

There were plenty of wise smiles at Northeast Elementary School on Feb. 13 as the Amityville School District’s kindergarten students celebrated 100 days of school.
Dressed in handmade crowns and creative “100-year-old” costumes, kindergartners marked the milestone with laughter and learning. Students participated in themed classroom activities focused on the number 100, blending fun with foundational academic skills.
The day served as a joyful reminder of how much students have grown in just 100 days — academically, socially, and creatively.
