Northeast Elementary School receives a surprise visit from Santa Claus

On Dec. 10, students and staff at Northeast Elementary School in Amityville were filled with joy and excitement during a special surprise visit from Santa Claus.
Accompanied by members of the North Amityville Fire Department, Santa arrived from the North Pole to tour each classroom, greeting students and wishing them a Merry Christmas and happy holidays. Principal Dr. Pauline Collins warmly welcomed Santa upon his arrival and personally thanked him for visiting her students and helping to make the day unforgettable. Pre-kindergartners and kindergartners eagerly embraced the moment, with many offering Santa warm hugs and promising to continue being good students. Some were even moved to happy tears as they experienced the thrill of meeting Santa in person. Festive holiday attire, decorated classroom trees, and colorful seasonal displays added to the cheerful atmosphere throughout the building.
The Amityville School District extends its heartfelt thanks to the North Amityville Fire Department for helping to bring holiday magic to the school and for spreading cheer to our youngest learners.
