Town of Babylon honors Amityville Memorial High School freshman

The Amityville School District is proud to announce that Amityville Memorial High School freshman Franci Paz Pineda was honored as this year’s youth honoree at the Town of Babylon’s 27th Annual Hispanic Heritage Month Celebration.
This year, the town embraced the theme “Collective Heritage: Honoring the Past, Inspiring the Future,” as everyone came together to reflect on the rich cultural contributions of the Hispanic community while looking forward to an empowered future. The event also featured several performances, engaging activities, and heartfelt connections in a festive atmosphere filled with music, art, and tradition.
Franci was joined by local elected officials and administrators from the Amityville School District who were proud to celebrate his achievement. The district commends Franci and looks forward to seeing the incredible things he will accomplish in the future.
