Welcome Back Warriors
Welcome to the 2009-2010 school year! All of us at Amityville Memorial High School have been working diligently to prepare for the arrival of our students and staff on Wednesday, September 2nd.
There is great excitement within the building as we continually create a nurturing environment that fosters academic achievement, respect for self and others, and a focus on continuous improvement. Our goal is to utilize the human connection, which is the common denominator for every one of us, to create a renaissance within the walls of Amityville Memorial High School.
Academic achievement as measured through Regents exam results, SAT results, Advanced Placement course enrollments and our college-going rate continues to rise. Our professional teaching staff is dedicated to providing assessment based instruction with the human factor necessary to motivate our students as they strive for individual success.
Outside the wall of the classroom, our students will continue to perform at high levels as providers of community service, musicians, artists and student-athletes. Please come out and support our students as they continue to excel in all ways.
Again, welcome to the new school year! We look forward to a year filled with wonderful opportunities for our students.
Regards,
