AMHS Students Excel at Special Olympics

As many of you know, Amityville participated in the Special Olympics this past Sunday. We had a great time and came home with lots of medals! Our athletes were:

Kevine Robinson - 2 Golds, 1 Silver
Kristian Robinson - 2 Silvers, 1 Bronze
Kristopher Robinson - 1 Gold, 2 Silvers
Tyron Burch - 2 Silvers
Michael Jones - 1 Gold, 1 Silver

On top of our athletes, who did an amazing job, we had sixteen students come help out as volunteers. If you have any of these students in class, be sure to ask them how their day was and commend them for giving up their Sunday to ensure everyone had a great time! They really represnted Amityville well, we had many comments on the great job they did! We should all be proud of these students as well as the athletes!
