Amityville’s Girls Soccer Team Leaves Mark of Excellence

Amityville’s Varsity Girls Soccer team, coached by League 8 Coach of the Year Christopher Roth and Assistant Coach Lesia Milan, will go down in the athletic history books as having the third best girls soccer record in the history of the school. The previous records were set in 1989 and 1990 under then coach and current district Athletic Director and teacher Ron Forman. “I have been very proud of these fine young ladies chasing the record,” Mr. Forman stated. “Coach Roth and Assistant Coach Milan have done a fantastic job with the team, and we are proud to have these exemplary adults not only as coaches, but also as teachers of our students.”
In addition to Coach Roth’s award as Coach of the Year, team member Bonnie Siry received All-County status from the Suffolk County Girls Soccer Association. Bonnie is only the fourth girls soccer player in Amityville history to achieve this distinction.

The following players received All-League honors by the Suffolk County Coaches Association; Kelly Siry, Nimah Kellman, Crystal Vasquez, and Kristen Emmerich. Congratulations to the team and coaches on an outstanding and remarkable season.
