AMHS Guidance Office Offers Resume Workshop

Our guidance department is offering lunchtime resume writing workshops for
interested students. Many of the students taking part in the workshops are
forgoing their lunch period to be involved in this valuable activity.

Students are excited about this opportunity to create a concrete history of
the activities they have been involved in during their time at AMHS. An
eleventh grade student had this to say about the workshop, "The counselors
were able to help me tailor my resume to the college I am interested in
attending. It is great to get such individual attention." Students are also
using completed resumes to obtain employment.

Our guidance department will be offering various workshops throughout the
school year on pertinent and timely topics.
