Rachel’s Challenge – A Powerfully KIND Message for All

Rachel’s Challenge - a huge success! The entire student body was able to experience a powerful message of kindness and compassion for our fellow human beings over two assemblies. Following the assemblies, over 150 students volunteered to participate in the “friends of Rachel” training program in the auditorium. These students have pledged to continue spreading Rachel Scott’s message and are willing and able to start a chain reaction of kindness at Amityville Memorial High School. Each student has signed the Rachel’s Challenge Banner that will be hung in our school as a constant reminder of how important and powerful acts of human kindness can be for our school, community, country, and world.
