Music Students Honored

Mrs. Fernandez, our Director of Music and Fine Arts, is very pleased to announce that three of our orchestral music students have been selected to participate in the Long Island String Festival performing groups in January. The students selected are:

Andre Maxwell (High School – Cello)
Andrew Abate (Middle School –Bass)
Madison Daly (PAMES – Violin)

Admission to participate in this annual music festival is highly selective, as the various performing groups are comprised of extremely talented music students from across Suffolk County. Students were selected based on their NYSSMA levels, ratings, festival comments, and teacher recommendations. Congratulations to the students and their orchestra teachers, Mrs. Recher and Ms. Pizzo, on this fine achievement.
