Amityville Memorial High School Drama Club Presents High School Musical

The Amityville Memorial High School Drama Club has been busy preparing for this year’s big production – Amityville’s version of High School Musical. Directed by Park Avenue teacher and high school Drama Club advisor Melissa Asbell, the musical features singing, dancing and eye-catching stage sets and scenery. Music teacher Leonora Colletti serves as Assistant Director, along with her colleague Lauren Drucker, who is the vocal coach for the dynamic, energetic cast. The production is slated for Friday and Saturday, March 27th and 28th, at 7:30 pm in the high school auditorium, with a matinee on Sunday, March 29th, at 3 pm. The Drama Club gave a sneak preview of High School Musical to the Board of Education prior to the start of one of their meetings. The cast is pictured, along with INTERACT advisor Brenda King (far left) and INTERACT dancers (posed on floor), who also showcased their talents for the Board that evening.
