Warrior Artists Are Honored by Heckscher Museum

Good News from AMHS Art Department

Herminia Reyes and Gisele Rivas have each had their work of art accepted into the fourteenth annual Long Island’s Best: Young Artists at the Heckscher Museum student exhibition. Our congratulations to Herminia for her ceramic relief entry and to Gisele for her pastel painting. They will be honored Sunday April 18,2010, at the opening reception (3-5pm) and awards ceremony (4pm). The exhibition is April 17 to May 2.

Our other student participants will receive a Certificate of Participation from the Heckscher Museum of Art . Their artwork will be featured at the Westfield /Sunrise Mall during the Amityville District Annual Art Show opening April 21. These artists are:
