Jacqueline Noon
Mrs. Noon joined the Amityville School district in 2006. Prior to 2006, she worked as a school counselor for four years at Patchogue-Medford School District. She received her Bachelor’s Degree from St. Joseph’s College and her Master’s Degree from Long Island University. In her spare time, she enjoys spending time with her husband and son, traveling, reading and cooking. Her favorite part about being a counselor is that every day is different and her students always make her laugh.

Stacy Murphy
Mrs. Murphy began her career as a guidance counselor at Amityville Memorial High School in September of 2004. She received her graduate degree at St. John’s University and her undergraduate degree from Messiah College. Mrs. Murphy has been married since May of 2008 and is the mother of a little boy born in October of 2009. She loves spending time with her family and cooking.

Andrew Akapnitis
Mr. Akapnitis joined the Amityville School Guidance Department in 2008. Prior to 2008, Mr. Akapnitis worked as the Assistant Director of Admissions at the C.W. Post Campus of Long Island University. Mr. Akapnitis received his Bachelor’s Degree from Loyola College in Maryland and his Master’s Degree from Long Island University. Mr. Akapnitis is a member of the Western/Suffolk Counselors' Association as well as the Nassau Counselors' Association. Outside of the school day, Mr. Akapnitis enjoys being part of the Amityville Memorial High School coaching staff and a being a member in his local volunteer fire department.
