Kiwanis Creates Field of Honor at AMHS for Veterans

The Kiwanis Club of Amityville has accepted individual donations of 3x5 American flags in honor of US Service Veterans. This past Saturday the Kiwanis members proudly created a Field of Honor on the front lawn of Amityville Memorial High School. This Field of Honor includes 150 American flags perfectly aligned - five flags deep and thirty flags wide. This beautiful display of remembrance is striking in its simplicity and beauty. Please make it a point to stop by AMHS and see this moving tribute to our Veterans in person.
