2008 Warrior Graduate Excels In the Classroom and On the Field at Hobart

Reggie Robinson, a 2008 graduate of AMHS, recently traveled to the Kings Point Merchant Marine Academy with his fellow Hobart Statesman for a conference football game. In addition to excelling in the classroom, Reggie is a starting linebacker for the Statesman. Over thirty Amityville fans showed up to support Reggie and the Statesman as they defeated Kings Point.

Reggie was a member of the Warrior 2007 Long Island Championship football team that defeated Seaford in the LI Championship game at Hofstra.

We are all proud of you Reggie!

Juniors quarterback Doug Vella, offensive lineman Brendan Hatlee, linebacker Reggie Robinson, and defensive back Drake Woodard were first team selections along with first-year running back Steven Webb and Worthington. Sophomore Junior Woodard also made the first team as a return specialist.

Robinson led Hobart and finished third in the conference with 82 tackles. He also had eight tackles for loss, forced two fumbles, and recorded three interceptions. Robinson notched at least five tackles in every game. He registered double-digit tackles five times, including a season-high 12 against Rochester.
