District Wide College Fair Draws Over 400

Please join us in providing kudos to our District Director of Guidance, Mrs. Hausfeld, and her staff. They planned, organized, and implemented an outstanding college fair for the Amityville community. Workshops on financial planning, financial aid, special education and college, and student-athletes and college, were offered. A Kids College was set-up to introduce our elementary students to the world of college. Thanks to our high school students for running the Kids College. T-shirts were provided to all students who attended the event. The t-shirts exclaimed: “College Bound Student from Amityville”.

In addition, representative from over 100 colleges and universities were on-hand to provide information for all attendees. This was a fantastic and extremely well-attended community event. Thank you to all who took part in this event.
